This Privacy Policy explains how SmashByte, Inc. (“SmashByte,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information through the Fast Lending Team website, applications, and related communications (the “Services”). Fast Lending Team is a brand operated by SmashByte, Inc. Please also read our Terms of Use.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide and information generated when you use the Services:
- Application, contact, and business information. This includes your name, email address, phone number, business name and address, industry, time in business, revenue and credit ranges, requested funding amount, and intended use of funds.
- Documents. This includes bank statements and other files you choose to upload, such as identification or a voided check.
- Optional bank-link information. If you choose to connect a bank account through our bank-link provider, we may receive connection identifiers, institution details, balances, transaction summaries, and other information made available through that connection.
- Device, usage, and attribution information. This includes IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, site interactions, referring URLs, advertising campaign parameters, and click identifiers.
How we use information
We use information to receive and process applications; review eligibility; support underwriting and verification; communicate about applications, offers, and our Services; provide customer support; maintain and improve the Services; measure site and campaign performance; prevent fraud and protect security; enforce agreements; and comply with applicable legal obligations. We may combine information collected through different parts of the Services for these purposes.
How we share information
We share information as needed to operate the Services and evaluate funding requests:
- Funding partners. We may share your application, contact and business information, documents, and optional bank-link results with funding partners for underwriting, verification, review, and related follow-up. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
- Operational service providers. Vendors that provide email delivery, hosting, document storage, analytics, bank-link technology, security, and similar services may process information for us.
- Legal, safety, and business purposes. We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and security, enforce agreements, or in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of business assets.
Communications and your choices
Where you provide consent, SmashByte, Inc. may contact you with informational or marketing communications by phone, email, or text message, as described in our Terms of Use. You can revoke consent to text messages by replying STOP to a text, revoke consent to calls by asking the caller to stop calling, or make a revocation request for either channel by emailing hello@fastlendingteam.com. You may also use an unsubscribe link in a marketing email. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect your ability to apply for funding.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including application processing, recordkeeping, security, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, and legal compliance. To request deletion of your information, email hello@fastlendingteam.com. We may take steps to verify your request. Deletion is subject to legitimate retention needs and applicable legal requirements, so some information may be retained even after a request.
Security
We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to help protect information transmitted between your browser and our sites. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and analytics
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to remember your progress, understand how visitors use the Services, measure campaigns, and support security and analytics. These technologies may collect device, usage, and attribution information. You can control some cookies through your browser settings, but blocking them may affect site functionality.
Business use and age
